FPT has established the largest Food Technology Center in this region. The 50meters long campus situated right at the heart of the “Kitchen of the world” is setup to mimic a full-fledged factory facility. It comprises of High, Medium and Low risk zones that conformed to the stringent GFSI standard (Global Food Safety Initiative). Food Campus is also equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment and technologies for food enthusiasts to experiment with the right recipes for that perfect food fusion! Most crucially, in FPT we believe people is the “SOUL” of the kitchen. Our team of professionals encompasses Master Chefs, Food scientists, Engineers, Project Consultants, Architects, QA and IT specialists. 26 Aug Temasek Polytechnic and FPT Food Process Technology will establish a pilot plant facility at the Temasek campus in Singapore. The center, which will open in 2024, will provide r&d facilities for new prototype development, consultancy services on product development, sensory evaluation, shelf-life study, regulatory requirements, and other food processing-related areas. “We chose FPT as our partner because it can provide turnkey solutions, state-of-the-art equipment, market analysis, and consultancy in food manufacturing plants,” Lay Beng Goh, Director of Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Applied Science, told Asian Agribiz.
